Default Wire on Intake Pleuem

New here, hello all.

Have a 93 Stealth base model with 3.0 SOHC. Just finished doing cam seals, front main seal, timing belt, water pump, alternator......

When I was disconnecting the Intake Pleuem connectors there was one connector on front-bottom of throttle butterfly housing that has a solid wire. Not sure what it is but it felt like it may have broken when I unplugged the elect connector. What is this solid wire? Can it be fixed by simply stripping back the wire loom and solder/wire nut a new piece in?

Thanks in advance for your help.....Kritter

Default RE: Wire on Intake Pleuem

I didn't have any wierd idle problem until today, briefly it didn't want to idle on startup, but restarted and it did fine other than the idle being at 1100. I'm thinking that wire that felt like it broke did and is making intermitant connectivity. I'll try and replace the broken section tonight.

Any advice is appreciated.
