there are 3 different major engine types. There is the sohc, dohc, and twin turbo, which one does you have? I personally don't think the gas pedal is sensitive but that just might be me.

well the car can be very fast, mine is VERY snappy (light wight crank) a stock dohc will reach 145 no prob. mine will do 160+ idk, twin turbos on the other hand are very quik and agile. if you can drive lol jk. but bog on the line, awd kills that. sohc idk never drove one.

Yes, these cars are pretty quick and can still "spank" some newer cars pretty damned good. I used to have an automatic (yeah, I know...) SOHC and it was just ok. With a few mods I was able to get it up to 110 but it has a long first gear so if you own one, getting off the line will be a chore. I now have a NA DOHC and it's much quicker, you can feel the difference.

As far as the gas pedal goes, I don't find it to be sensitive. It is a different feel than other cars I've owned, but that's to be expected.

It seems like there is a huge difference between auto SOHC and manual ones. I was able to get up to 140 ish. At around 125 it started to get up to speed really slow

Yeah, for sure. An automatic will kill it for sure. Getting the HP to the wheels... knock off anywhere from 40-60HP for an automatic. But I found after getting out of first, it'd race through the other gears fairly well. Low end torque wasn't the greatest but once you'd get to around 60, it'd pick up speed pretty quick.
