Default First time stealth owner needs help

I'm 16 and i just bought a my first car. its a 1992 base model stealth.

I want to begin modifying with parts that i can afford on the small budget that i have. I'm looking for some performance gains so i was wondering what the best route to take would be? This is all pretty new to me so any suggestions or comments would help. Thanks

NA upgrade bible from 3si.com

Browse through this upgrade bible. It will give you a good idea on what you can do.

Also Rippmods.com is almost done developing a SDS (supercharger) kit for our cars. Reputed to give a bump of 80 to 100 HP (not cheap though)

Do you have a DOHC or a SOHC motor in your car. If you have a SOHC Ripp already has a SDS kit for them. Good luck, but I will warn you that not many upgrades are "cheap"

if you really want alot of info on your stealth. and I mean anything and everything you could ever want to know. go to www.3si.org I own a 94 stealth base modelthat is modded to the max. I own every bolt on mod made for our cars and even a few that I modified to work on our cars. I learned alot from that msg board.

as far as the best route to take.. if you are completely stock. start with an intake and exhaust.. and don't waste your money buying a pre made performance exhaust, go to your local exhaust shop and have them make you a cat back, then get a test pipe to replace your catalytic converter, then go to www.3sx performance.com and get a performance down pipe, then go to www.3kgtmotorsports.com and get you a set of headders.. between those 3 sites you should be pretty much set for anything you could possibly want to do to your car. and just for good measure here's another. www.dnperformance.com
