rectifier plate
I just purchased a white 1996 dodge stealth r/t .A belt came off and wraped around the harmonic balencer stripping the rectifier plate for the crancshaft positioning sencer.Ive looked all over the net and seen nothing like it,local aoutoparts store cant get it and mitsibishi was suppose to diliver one 6 days ago they say it still never came in.Does any one no a link were i can buy this part(allready tried e-bay)and knowone eles has any clue what im talking about,this is my only car so im kinda in a bind here.please help?
Ok i finaly got the new one in.Put it on i now have fire but no compression in front 3 cilenders didnt check the back becuz i would have to take the intake 0off.So i thought i timed it wronge becuz i had to take the timeing belt off to get to the plate and cranckshaft pasitioning sencer.So i timed it again then again,still no compretion moter spens off realy easy.So i check the front valves, and then front cilender for compression no compression,valves look fine.So i run compresed air into the sparkplug holes and turned moter over i hurd no air roleing out the exost pipe nor out the intake.Has anyone ran into this problem b4?Maybe im a tooth off one 1 of the cams and the intake and exost opening to close to gether?All the cams appear to me to b on the arrows that r on the valve covers,cranks pin is lined up with the mark just like the book says.Im puzzled.Hopefully someone here had the same problem?after 8 hours i gave up,hopefully tomorro ill go in and im a tooth off.
