The transmission just went out of my girlfriends car. It would miss shifts, go up hills extremely slow, and take off slow. I put a transmission in with 65k on it, blew out the cooler, changed the oil and filter, connected everything right, cleaned and dielectric greased all electrical plugs. The car drives fine now, and hits all the shifts good.Two problemsoccour,When i put the car in reverse, it takes off very slow until itbuilds up momentum, thats with the engine up to temperature. And another problem i found is when the car is warmed up and then put in park, when you go to put it back in drive, theengine runs rough for a few seconds then shuts off.Im not good with front wheel drive foreign cars so if someone canhelp me it will be greatly appreciated thanks.
