Default 200,000+ Milage Stealth For Sale?

I was looking around for a car and found a 1996 Stealth that is in good condition for its age, has all its regular maintence and such and looks in very good shape for its age. The only problem is it that it has over 200,000 miles on it (I don't recall the exact number).

What do you guys think about possibly purchasing this car? It is very cheap (less than $2000). It would have to be my daily driver for the remainder of my college carreer and through med school.

What do you guys think? Any thoughts/opinions?

Thanks

i drive 92 stealth with 190k miles and it's still going. If it had regular maintance done and tunups done then should be ok for another 50k miles or so. If you get it, check belts, all fluids and you might have to replace valve seals if it's burning oil. On mine rings geting wore out and it's starting to burn oil again. Check compression on it before buying to make sure motor is not dead.

I wouldn't waste the money. I don't think the car would last you that long. May be in good condition on the outside but you never know whats going on with it mechanically. There are plenty of other cars out there with much less miles on them being sold by private parties. Just check your local autotrader.
