Default need some help on getting rid of catalytic converter

just bought a 91 stealth that needs complete exhaust dodge wants 2500.00 yeah right so i am fabricating exhaust myself and was wondering if i eliminate the catalytic converter will it screw up anything. thanks for any help hexiejohn

No, it will just cause the check engine light to come on. Other than that it should be just fine, not to mention more powerful.
