Do the Stealths have a safety in the clutch switch? The car won't start at all now. For a while I could pump the clutch and it would start. Or, can I just bypass the switch and hard wire it to register the pedal is depressed?

They do have a safety switch on the clutch (it's called an interlock switch) and to disable it you just have to unplug it. It is normally closed and opens when the clutch pedal is pushed. Disconnecting it has the same result. There are two switches on the clutch pedal, one that makes contact when the clutch pedal is back - this is the switch for the cruise control - and one that sits in a more vertical position, this is the interlock switch. Just follow the wires back about 4 inches to the connector, press the release on the top (it can be hard to get too) and it pulls off real easily. Hope this helps.
