All things being equal, the ES should outperform the RT solely due to it weighing less than the RT. They have the same engine, tranny, etc.

I prefer the 1st generation (91 to 93) because I like the flip up lights more than the fixed ones.

You know, you could have combined all three of these posts into one.

140 or 150 stock is about what they'll run. That is one thing their weight is good for, they are very stable at top speed.

Stealths were only made from 91 to 96 and they were fairly expensive so their numbers are diminished comparitively speaking.
1990* 3,302 units
1991 18,352 units
1992 16,926 units
1993 14,556 units
1994 7,090 units
1995** 3,077 units
(*) Sales began in October 1990
(**) Sales January through August

Don't be hasty with your selection. Wait for a good one to come along.
When testdriving a standard, 2nd gear is a tell tale sign of how the car was driven. If the synchros are really bad, it could indicate
"ethusiastic" driving.

Sounds like a good price. Ask for service records and whatnot. Make sure the 60k or 120k maintenance has been performed on it.
