Hello again. Long time...
...no see. Hope Dusty and RR are still around. I've been so busy with my new job since Fall that I haven't posted much except that dreaded day I slid my Stealth into a light pole.
. . .Well, going through getting it back on the road I've learned a few things. It was a Drug, Tobacco, Firearms recovery. Funniest thing of all--when I swapped out the red cloth seats for a set of black leather I got from a wrecker I found a very large caliber hollow point bullet. Since I'm pretty sure those are illegal, I suspect that the reason this car was confiscated and sold off is for illegal firearm possession???
Anyway, the body shop I got to "pull everything back out to the position for the bolt holes but not make look pretty" didn't do such a good job. . . .so it's on the road and fun as heck but a little ugly. The Wheel I got to replace the damaged one was a REALLY crappy aftermarket chrome job ontop of the stock rim. So, we had it dechromed and my father has powder-coated it black. I like it--will do the rest too. I think I'll go for completely blacked out on this car.
Otherwise--for those that remember that long ago, I've dropped out of MBA school--no time--and am thinking of quiting this job, selling house, caching in on the equity and moving out of state. So . . . lots of changes coming.
Talk to ya'll soon. And since I do have a digital camera now I'll snap a few shots of the stealth and show you what the shop did.
Anybody want a set of red cloth '91 seats with the driver seat slightly tweaked? (LOL).

here's what I ended up with, but another 3400 to bring it back to stock means almost as much as I was paying for it total BEFORE it had a salvaged title. Door closed, not too bad, closeup, doorjam and a wrinkly underbody still.
