Default Boost question?

HI everyone i just picked up my third stealth and it is a 1993 dodge stealth Twin Turbo and i do not know that much about them. One question i have is how much boost they run stock. my gauge reaches up to 14 lbs. but i dont know if thats accurate or right? but also how much can the motor handle stock, boost wise, if i were to get boost controller?

thanks for your help.

It is a 1st gen (pop up headlights) so it runs 8# of boost. 2nd gen cars have 10# of boost. With stock turbos, intake, and injectors you can generally go up to around 12-14# of boost with a manual boost controller.

The stock boost gauge is lousy by the way. Does not really even measure actual boost.

2 great sites for info on the Stealth is www.3si.org and www.stealth316.com. More info than you can imagine.
