is it worth buying a 95 dodge stealth rt sport with 203,000 miles on it?
it depends on the condition and price. mine had 228k on it, but there is zero rust, all the axles and tie rod ens are good. all the cv joints are good. rotors are new, engine and trans was rebuilt recently(had my mechanic confirm it) and there are no dents on the body. it needs a paint job, drivers seat, and center bearings for the drive shaft. i paid only $2600 for it, and mechanically its almost perfect. i'm still learning about these cars, but my mechanic said i got a hell of a deal on the car so i'm happy about it. just check to make sure everything is mechanically solid. BTW, mine is the twin turbo AWD version. i wouldnt spend nearly $2600 on one that is fwd.
My 96 R/T (non turbo) has 280k miles on it. Original everything. Runs and drives awesome. It has it's squeaks, and lifter tick, and the valve stem seals smoke, but the engine is in amazing condition, trans is as well, not an ounce of rust, original paint, etc. If it's a well maintained car, then yes, it's worth buying. Because it was obviously taken care of well enough to last that long, chances are, it will last much longer.
