Default Rotted unibody?

In search of some help. My father handed down his 20 year old Stealth to me last year. I took it to a garage for their opinion on what it would take to make it road ready and they told me the unibody was rotted and they suggested that I dump the car. It has sentimental value to me so I don't really want to do that. I think they didn't want to deal with it or any liability if something were to happen. I have no problem with that. I guess I want a second opinion though. Does anyone know of anybody in the Western NY area that they can recommend to look at and or fix this issue? I would really like to hang onto this car and fix it over the next few years but I also want to enjoy driving it as well. Thanks.
