Default Need help!

So I'm going to be buying a 91 stealth TT tomorrow. Has rebuilt motor w 2500miles on it. Brand new turbos. Stage 3 clutch and a few other performance mods. I took it for a drive and loved it! But with the MAF hooked up I could only rev it to 5k. Once the MAF was disconnected problem went away. The guy I'm buying it from said it just needed to be tuned. There is a greddy electronics boost controller hooked up and it read 9psi. Is tuning the car the solution to the problem or is that just a bunch of BS?? Please help me out as I'm new to this platform. Thanks for any info.

Ryan

While both responses would have been completely useless to me as far as helping me solve my problem. I figured it out a few days ago on my own. The S pipe from the front turbo to the intercooler had blown off and was just hanging there. I hooked it back up and the car now runs like a bat out of hell.

Thanks,
Ryan

you asked if it was BS, I gave an adequate reply based on the information you posted. Glad to hear it was something simple.
