Unhappy Rain causes engine issues

I have a 91 Stealth R/T non-turbo with 75,000 miles, stored winters. My car runs good until I drive it in the rain, then it will misfire for several days to a week until things are dried out. When wet, It runs best if I floor it, or if I'm coasting down without touching the gas pedal. It misfires the most when I just hold speed, kind of a random jerking feeling.

When it is dry, I still have some issues of a lag in power at low RPMs, but decides it's a sports car when it gets to 3500-4000 RPM, then it really pulls. I can live with this way more than the misfiring.

Does this sound familiar to anyone? Can you give me suggestions for what to look at fixing?

Thank you!

if you have a dist cap, plug the vent in the cap. with JB- weld.

Don't give out ****ty advice when you have no idea what you are talking about.

To the original guy, have you changed your plugs and wires lately? Check for loose/exposed wiring in the engine bay?

Default rain issues

Yes, plugs and wires were replaced last year, which seemed to solve the issue for the rest of the time I drove it in the fall, then stored winter (Wisc), and a month or so in the spring, but then the mis-firing started up again. I hadn't noticed the correlation with rain until the last 3 rains, it DEFINATELY happened the very next time I drove it.

Thanks for the input, I'll make sure everything is tight.

Could also be an issue with your coil packs, maybe some exposed wires or a loose connection.
