Brand new to this forum; thanks for having me. My son has a 2005 Dodge Stratus and is attending school about seven hours away from me. On his last trip from our home to his school (he came to visit over a weekend) he said that his car starts vibrating real badly during quick acceleration; if he acclerates slowly it behaves normally. The vibration does not appear to be felt through the steering wheel but rather throught the body of the car. It's also bad if he is at 75 mph or above. Since he is seven hours away I thought I would ask here if somebody else might have experienced this. The check engine light is on and he will take it to a mechanic when he gets a chance to find one (small college town) to get a diagnostic read on it.
Any help would be appreciated.
