Bought the car. hasent ran n a year or to.
Got a new battery it started right up. then i shut it off after
30 seconds. theb go to start it up again and it just cranks
over and over. it has gas and fuel. all of a sudden no
spark? i had it when it wasent running then checked again
now nothing still wont start. cranks and cranks.
any help please!! OH and spark plugs had excess fuel on them.

 

Wet spark plug A wet spark plug means the plug has not been firing. If not due to engine flooding, the problem may be a bad ignition cable (excessive resistance, shorted or arcing). But wet fouling can also be caused by dirt or moisture on the outside of the plug that provides a conductive path to ground, or by an internal crack in the ceramic insulator that shorts the plug to ground.

In short, it sounds like you aren't getting any spark in that cylinder. Check the plug, the wires, and the distributor

 

No spark on all cylinders, no juice to coil packs or ignition control module
All I know is it goes into the firewall passenger side.

 

Pull your engine computer and check the capacitors on the board.

 

That's what I thought, I'll check today.
But it's now no spark no fuel no engine light coming on.
