The fuel pump runs right at start up to pressurize the fuel system.

Did you reset the ECU after putting on the MAS. If not, it will give you the same code until it is cleared.

changed to MFAS and still have the same problem the fuel pump shuts down after 3 sec. Hotwire the pump and it will stay running. However now that its cold I have to use carb cleaner to get it to start? But once its running eeverything ig good to go

Thanks

Chiefshoe, Have you found the problem yet with your fuel pump? My Stealth still isn't 100% yet and I was thinking a weak fuel pump could be the problem. The only time I have had a problem with a fuel pump was with my Dodge Spirit. It would run fine for 10 minutes then stall. It would start right away and then do the samething. Finally it just stopped and would not start. That's when I knew it probably was the pump. Very frustrating when it runs good then stalls. Let us know what you find out. thanks!

John

No I have not found out what is causing it to lose power after 3 min. The work around was to hot wire the fuel pump test point in the back left of the engine compartment to a hot wire that comes on with power on only.
