Default Dodge Stealth "Solenoid Valve"-Need help

I can't seem to find an answer for this on the Stealth site. I have a 1992 Dodge Stealth R/T with the 3.0 non-turbo DOHC engine. The engine has a miss at all RPM ranges that i'm trying to track down. Have changed almost every part. The first thing that I did was to replace the vacuum hoses. On the Stealth on the firewall located behind the throttle body is a solenoid valve. The vacuum hose diagram thats on the inside of the hood simply calls it "Solenoid Valve". It has one electrical connector and one vacuum hose. The hose connects to a fitting that is mounted to the throttle body. The other day I took the electrical connector off to clean it and forgot to connect it. Took the car for a drive yesterday and when I popped the hood I realized I forgot to connect the connector to the solenoid valve. Trouble is the engine didn't run any better or worse. Can someone please tell me what this "solenoid valve" is supposed to do? Thanks for the info!!

I am not sure what the solinoid does, but if you have a miss, I would think its more of a injector or spark problem. How are your plugs, wires, coil? Also check your fuel pressure. Could be a bad injector. What cylinder is missing?

That is the same symptoms my Stealth non turbo had it was the ECU you have a capasitor leaking on the board and it can be fixed if it has not eaten things up to bad. A rebuild will cost you around $200-$400 depending on where you go. You can fix it if your able to solder very good see the other posts on ECU/ECM don't get cornfused with the ECS thats for the suspencion on some turbo cars.
