Ground wire??
I was taking out my cd/casette player to replace it with an pioneer cd player. I was doing this because the radio would come in and out and then somethime wouldnt come on. I have a 92 so i know that they have a seperate ground wire and on inspection i noticed that if i moved the ground wire the stereo would come on and off kinda like it was doing b4 i pulled it out so i was wondering if it could just be the faulty ground. also if it is a faulty ground i would assume that it would occur if i put the new cd player in so is there a way to replace the ground wire? and where could i locate the part? also i think there is an adapter MC01? so that the after market unit can wire spliced in where could i find this? Sorry for all the questions i just want to hear some music in my ride.

its not the connection on the body that is bad but it is the connection at the back of the radio because when i touch the wire in the back of the stereo it goes in and ou t so i was wondering where i could purchase the ground wire as well as the wire harness for an aftermarket radio
A wire can be picked up at any hardware store. Nothing special about the wire. The harness would have to be purchased at an electronics store that carries that brand of radio. Not sure though, I've never been in the market for the harness.
