I am new to the Stealth scene and I am looking at won but the seller said the harmonic balancer broke.
He said it just happened a couple of days ago but I don't think I have every heard of that happening before, well unless you are running the engine hard all the time.

Have nay of you heard of this?

I'm not familiar with the stealth's but a harmonic balancer is usually two pieces with rubber in between. Over time the rubber deteriorates and it allows the outer section of the balancer to wobble and in severe cases come off. This may be what he is talking about.

 

yep, I know how they work, I was just wondering if this is a known issue with these cars.
