Default Fuel Pump--No Power

1994 Dodge Stealth R/T
126000 kms

Had shop put in New Fuel Pump. Went & picked it up & gas gauge read Empty (No Light)..had 1/2 tank before I left it...told the shop....

Drove away sputtering...I thought it was low gas....I was driving 20km/hr with no power building up.....I felt like I was in a parade except the waves were the middle finger

Arrived at gas station 1km away & topped up...& it filled up 1/2...just as I had left it.

Left the gas station & began driving to have no power at all....called the shop but it was closing. Barely made it back to the shop & left it there.

Could they have installed the fuel pump incorrectly (wiring)

Could they have pinched/squeezed a line between the floor & tank

Did they mess up the fuel gauge meter in the tank.

Pump that was installed was SP1118 with a STR42 Strainer

Any leads or suggestions would be awesome

Thank You

That would be up to them to decide after they inspect it. Could be any and all of those things.
