Dodge StealthThe car that can still draw looks from auto enthusiasts everywhere, the Dodge Stealth. From the Naturally Aspirated version to the Twin Turbo, the Dodge Stealth has a little something for everyone.
Hello all,
I have recently come across a non-turbo 91' Stealth RT with 89xxxkm and a broken timing belt. The car has had one owner for the last 27 years and has been kept in a garage, It's currently listed for $2200 (cad) and I am wondering whether this is a good deal or not. I am confident I can replace the timing belt myself. If I do end up buying it, are there any other repairs I should expect other than that?
I have included pictures of the car and the original listing.
If the timing belt broke then there is going to be valve damage and possible piston damage from hitting the valves. If you do buy it plan on tearing the motor apart and at minimum replace all the bent valves along with timing belt, water pump, tensioner.
