help with 92 es stealth

Default help with 92 es stealth

i have just bought a 1992 dodge stealth es with no motor in it. im trying to build a nice car that has sum looks but also has the speed. i have about $3000 to start up my project. and suggestions would be appreciated. also was the es model a good choice to buy. im trying not to put all my money into this car . this is my second project car. i just got done building up my 2000 grand am gt. i got it to run low 14s in the quarter. please give me any helop as i am a new stealth owner

Well, I suppose you need to ask yourself a couple of questions...first off being, what exactly do you want to get out of this car?? Drag car, daily driver, fun car, what is your goal? What tranny is currently in the car?? Do you have a source for a new engine??

IMO, the ES is not as good looking as the RT cousins, but is is a couple hundred pounds lighter...so from that standpoint...

More than likely, it will take a grand or more just to get it back on the road...

well i like the es look but i want sum speed it will be a daily driver kinda. but mostly for blowing away those mustang fanatics.
