'92 Dodge Stealth ES
I have been looking around for my first car,and I have come across a '92 Dodge Stealth ES.
It runs(not for long)it needs a crank kit.I am 16 years old,but i've been around cars all my life.
From what I can tell,I would need to rebuild the entire motor,buy a brand new crank kit,and do some other tune ups.
I have about 6grand cash saved up,my income is only about $1300 and I would love to make a project out of it.
The car costs 1800$ but I think I can haggle it down to around 1200,that would leave me hanging with around 4800
I would have to probably buy a used v6 which would run about(self installed..) 600$ ish so that leaves me with 4200,four new tires I will say 800$,a decent radio $150 it has brand new infiniti speakers in it.It would be ready for the road then.i've got a exaust waiting for it.So far i'm down to 3250. I could buy a nice ppaintjob for around $1200-1800$,and a nice body kit for 900 with that.
I'd like some feedback,does it sound like a good plan?Can you please help me with the pros and cons of the 92 stealth ES?
