tranny problems?
hi, i'm new to this forum and have a couple of questions...
i have a 95 stealth (auto) with about 150k miles on it and a couple of months ago it would stall as soon as i put in gear and if i could get it to go in gear when i hit my breaks it would stall out again, i took it to a mechanic and he told me that i needed a new torque converter. i had him do that and 500$ later its doing it again... also when i am driving it the transmission seems to slip and downshift very hard. if anyone has had any of these problems and could tell me why this happens i would really appreciate it
