I asked a dude I know who refurbishes and resales stealths up in Indiana a similar question, simply because there was a DOHC Stealth ES in town, and I was wanting to know the same thing incase I wanted to add the doors and everything, he said no, because it's body molding has different' screws holes and everything, you would have to go in and mod a bunch a stuff, more than probably what the car is worth. For example the Stealth ES I was looking at had 3kGT looking rear lights, and replacing them with the dodge lights was more than just popping on a different set of lights. Essentially you have to buy the entire shell of the RT model, then make screw holes, and bolt it all together, but even then there were some parts on the seals that you could see from the inside of the car due to gap. Overall, just sell your car and pay the difference for an RT, you will save yourself literally over 1k in cash and dozens of man hours, and you'd have what you actually wanted and what fit together versus something basic that might not fit together at all.

Interesting...the guy who runs the stealth/3000gt salvage site turned his ES into an RT. He had the parts, but it didn't require any extra drilling as all the holes were already there. Who knows, I'm not gonna buy both just to find out. The biggest problem with the changeover is finding the turn signal/snake eyes pieces on the RT's. They are not easy to find. The headlight cap is also a little different.

I think the main problem with it was the parts are different sizes. Like the back panel connecting the 2 lights was about an inch size difference. It can be done, you just have to go through and pretty much re-panel the entire car. You can't get away with just doing one or two parts otherwise it just won't fit. Made sense when I thought about it because on RT's and TT's the back roof panels (panels running along side the hatch) had spaces between them for air to flow through and connected with the rear fender/bottom of hatch at the crescent (in front of spoiler) versus at the base of the window in front of the crescent on the DOHC Stealth ES model I had found in town. That was one of the main differences I was able to tell and why it just didn't look right. Otherwise it can be done, but the time taken to do it would be long and grueling. And believe me, it would have to be done all at once rather than a piece at a time because the seals won't fit together until all parts are on. And you definitely don't want a gap when clouds start to form .

More work than it would be worth in my opinion.
