I have a '94 R/T non turbo auto-tranny...I get right around 20 mpg w/the switch on Economy mode...does any1 know how much gas mileage is affected by switching it to power mode/leaving it there? Also, I know this causes shifts to occurr at higher RPM's. Is it bad to leave it in PWR mode? Thanks!

I have the exact same car as you. I honestly have not noticed a huge fuel economy difference between power and economy mode. I keep mine on power because I like the way it shifts - you can definitely tell a difference and the car just feels faster. Right now I have been getting about 21-22 MPG in power mode. About 90% of the miles I drive every day are highway miles.

Cool! Thanx guys! Also, when I do have it in Power mode, sometimes when it shifts, a belt will squeal very briefly...no slipping or problems shifting that I can feel...any ideas as to which belt/why? Does it around 6500 rpms or so.

One of your belts is probably just a little bit loose, or in need of changing. Don't overtighten it though, or you run the risk of premature wearing of the bearing on your accessories/tensioners.
I just finished calculating average MPG in power mode. This average is city and highway driving with most of the miles being highway. The A/C was on for 1/2 the time. I went 390 miles on 17.055 gallons. I averaged 22.867 MPG. Hope this helps someone!
I will be calculating average MPG in economy mode this week, so I will post my results for that very soon.

Just finished testing MPG on economy mode. I went 434 miles on 18.041 gallons. Average MPG was 24.056. I guess there is a slight improvement using eco mode, but I personally like pwr mode better.
Take care every1!!
