Default Battery terminal wires

I just bought a Stealth and it was starting.
It won't start now and there are 2 wires coming off the each post.
Positive post- 1 wire goes to the starter 1 is going to the fuses.
Nigative post- Both wires to grounds in different locations.
I also found auto alarm system. Could this stop me from starting car?
If so how do I disarm it?

It could cause it to not start, I don't know how to disarm it but a friend of mine had the same problem with the alarm system on his firebird and had to go to the dealer to get it fixed.. You probably don't need to take it to a dealer ( expensive ) but some who installs them will prolly know how to fix um
