Default Why is it limp?

Hey guys, I'm brand new to the list, but I've had my Stealth for over 9 years. Still love it too.

I'll get to my question right away. My clutch pedal started feeling funny (like it was limp) so I checked the reserve tank and saw that it was empty. I went to the store and filled it up with clutch fluid, but nothing happened! The clutch still feels the same, and the fluid has not lowered one bit. Do I have to pump the clutch a bunch of times? Is there a bleeder valve? Is there air in the lines? Are there two reservoirs?

Thanks. I have had no problems with my car for 9 years. One water pump replaced, and that's it. Good luck and a good car!

Yes, you probably have air in your lines. Here is a procedure for bleeding a hydralic clutch. If your car is not turbo, it will be a little different, because you do not have the vacuum resivoir. Courtesy of Stealth316
