Default Tour/Sport mode flashing

Okay it's been a while since I have posted but this problem has recently flared up and this time its worse than before. Some times it will not go away even after I have killed the battery/restarted the car. On top of this I also have a chirping sound coming from the engine (normally a belt sound). From the sound of it, it's like it's coming from my timing belt. Could it be slipping/bad/loose? Any help would be much appreciated.

Default RE: Tour/Sport mode flashing

The Tour/Sport light that is flashing could be 2 things; 1. it could be a loose connection on one of your struts. 2. Your ECS module could be going bad. The ECS module has the same subpar capacitors that the ECU has. If left unchecked, it will cause problems on your ECU board. A stop gap is too unhook the ECS. It is located in the rear hatch, passenger side. Do a search on Stealth316 for more detailed instructions.

The squealing coming from yourt-belt area could be, the idler, tensioner, waterpump bearings. It could also be the idlers and tensioners for the accessories. The t-belt is a toothed belt and doesn't "slip."
