Default Is the "free boost mod" safe?

Is the "free boost mod" safe on stock everything?with no boost control ect? i just want to make sure it wont spike to like 20 or something..

nah it wont spike to 20, you probably wont gain too much from that mod.

All it does is remove a small restriction in the solenoid. That is basically the only difference between the 1st gen 300hp and the 2nd gen 320hp. If I remember correctly, it gives you about 3-4psi more boost. From something like 8#'s to 12#'s. Yes, it is safe to do on a stock setup.
