Default No E cheack

Without the E cheak being in Ohio i was thinking about just disonnecting the exhaust from the catalytic converter up towards the engine bay. I'm almost sure its illegal but not positive, and im sure i would gain quite a few pony's, not to mention better sounding. What do you think should i take the risk?

Yes it is illegal, yes you will gain some horsepower, and yes it will defiently be louder.
