I found my RT in the KC Star classifieds and my TT on autotrader. I'm skeptical about buying a car sight unseen, so I prefer to find ones somewhat local.

You should be able to pick up a turbo model between 4 to 10K...depending upon miles and condition.

Worth it...that really depends. I love both my Stealths, they have been extremely reliable...but I have spent plenty of money on preventive maintenance and minor repair.

I Ended up finding a TT stealth local but it cost me 10.5k fo rthe car, plus the tranny needed repair and the lower left ball joint was shot so I ended up spending another 6k in repairs. I've seen a few TT's go for about 20k here so I'm still debating on selling it for what I've put into it. It's a great car and all, but I'm like you and working on a small salary, and this car is out of my learning curve and budget for the moment. But if I sell it I know I'll regret it in like 5 years once I've got the mechanics and electrical down pat and the money to support it.
