Window has a problem
Cant take the door off
Ive taken off all of the screws that are visible but the door still wont come off. Can you give me a heads up about how to do this. I just bought the car a week ago and the window wont go up. I think maybe it is off the track because when i click the power window button it makes a sound so i dont think its the motor.

Pasenger window? The window lock button isn't pushed is it?

I'm assuming you mean the door panel. There are 3 hidden screws underneath the lower carpeted section. There is one screw on the carpet piece and the whole section will pop off. There are 2 screws on the back side of the door panel that need to come out. You also have to pry the red lens door light off and remove the 2 screws holding the fixture in. Once you get all the screws out, lift up on the door panel, it should come up and off fairly easy. Once you get the panel off, undo the harness for the window/door lock controls.

 

Yea if you mean the door panel its exactly liek thestealth said i learned that the hard way. Definatly cheack to see if the button is pushed i went 3 months thinking my window was broken when it was really that stupid button.

 

I didn't worry about prying the red lense out, I just lift, then take the plug out, then pull out the door panel.

 

You're right scribble, you can unhook the harness without removing the lens and fixture.
