Default 96 strat feels like tugging

i have a 96 strat with a 2.4L. everyone in a while when take off after i get to like 10mph it feels like im pressing on the brakes and trying to accelorate. then it wil;l stop and it feels like the car getts sling shot forword. i dont think that it is my o2 sensor becuse i just changed it last summer and i dont think its even a year old. please help

I'd venture a guess that the tranny fluid is pretty grungy and possibly the torque convertor is having troubles ...

i haven't cleaned out the throttle body i do do that though. whats all required in flushing the tranny and cleaning the torque converter. (don't bother telling me if i need to separate the engine from the trany) but i mean what parts do i need and is it a all day thing or an all weekend thing


I think it is the tranny because when it starts to slow down and or jerk back and forth, if i floor it, it accelerate without a problem. (probably not good for it) this is what leads me to believe that it is not the O2 sensor
