Default Check Engine Light-Code P0455

I stopped at Auto Zone and they gave me the code P0455. The Manual says Leak in EVAP system detected. I have a 2001 ES Sedan 2.7 with 83000 miles. I made sure the gas cap was on tight and the seals look fine. Any idea on where to start, or should I just take it to the dealer? Also, my understanding is the light will go off after the problem has been corrected and 3 drive cycles have been completed-is this true?

I might be as dumb as I look. The light finally went off. I cleaned the seals on the gas cap and played with the pcv valve. Hopefully the light is gone for good.

code P0455 is a minor evap leak, i believe...which is generally a gas cap issue.

just took my 02 2.7 in to the dealer today for a p0450. i replaced the cas cap and changed a few vac lines but the the code would come back after a few days. the dealer found a few more lines that they chaned out. they also foud the the lines on top of the gas tank were bad, they let me watch them. my ride has 55k and both the teck's and i were suprised that so many lines were bad. they used a vac pump, cleared the code after each line was changed, and rehooked the scanner. gas tank lines need to ordered and might be in on monday.
