First off hello everyone yes I am new to this forum. I recently sold my truck and am looking for a reliable used car, and I am here at the stratus section so you can guess I'm looking into them. I used to be a ford guy but I just dont see myself buying a taurus or focus. I really have heard some bad things about stratus' people saying they arent reliable constantly having problems and someone actual told me dodge knows about consistent problems. What the problems were I don't exactly know and I'm not trying to start any kind of arguement but I'm just looking for peoples opinions of if I should go this route or what I should avoid. Oh yes and I'm looking at 04-06 stratus'. Thanks for you time.

 

I have an '04 Stratus coupe (completely made by Mitsubishi) and have had no major problems. I have had to replace the coil pack but that was covered under warranty. Besides that it has been a good car. As for major problems, the only thing I have heard of is oil sludging problems in the Sedans (made by Dodge) 2.7L. I believe they finally got this problem fixed.
