General A/C Question
I guess this question is general, but I recently replaced the AC compressor in my 2003 Dodge Stratus RT and also recharged it myself. This is the first car I've actually ever had AC so I am unsure as to how it should function. But the AC reaches its "ice cold" point only when it's been warmed up and on for about 20 minutes. Is this correct or was not enough freon put into it? Also, we did not evac the system before recharging it.
Any advice will be appreciated.

well there are factors that will make it cool faster and colder one is outside temp , humidity and the last one is if u are ideling or driving. There is a sticker under the hood that will tell how much freeon to put in. AS for not evac the system depends on how long u had it open and how much water was introduced to the system that can also have an issue with it colling down better.
