I have a 2005 Dodge Stratus SX. Recently I have been having issues with the cruise control. Sometimes it works like normal. Sometime I can turn it on but can not set the speed and sometime I can turn it on but it turns off right away. Is this something I should worry about or just live without it?

 

try pulling the tail light bulbs (all of them) and look for rust. some computers need ALL the brake lights to work the CC (it works by voltage readings). replace the fuses, one might be "cracked". another sensor is the vehcile speed sensor (VSS), it's on the tranny and sends a sig to the ECM, check the wires for a short.
