2001 Stratus Coupe stereo console problem
I was doing a fuse check (in the driver's side fuse compartment, which I do every once in a while) and none were bad (took them out and visually checked them for wear). I restarted the car and the stereo console was no longer working. I double checked to make sure the fuses were in completely and properly and they were. There was also no sign of damage to any of them. I need this fixed as soon as possible, but I can't think of any issues at all. Does anyone have any suggestions?
After some digging I've found that the starter and the radio apparently run on the same fuse. I don't see how this could be a problem because the car starts fine. Sorry for the double post, but this info seemed relevent.
Yeah. I don't have one of those nifty fuse checking things. The keys were also not in the ignition, if that helps.
What prompted me to do this was the illumination of said console had been randomly changinf from low to high, like in rapid flashes. However, the power to it had never went off like this. Now the lights for the treble and bass (stock unit btw) are flashing. Should've mentioned that earlier.
