I have a 2001 Stratus sedan. Some radio buttons don't work. I am replacing the radio. My radio has a black connector, a gray connector, and a thin white connector. What is the thin white connector for?

My Stratus radio hasa black connector, a gray connector, and a little thin white connector. What is that little white connector for? The newer models of this radio have different connectors. There are adapter wiring harnesses. But what about this other connector? I don't see it on the newer models. What does it do?
