I want to add homelink to my 03 strat sedan. i realize that the homelink is integrated with the visor. what i need to know is:

1: when hooking up the homelink visor, should the homelink be to a sourse that alwas has power or should it be on a switched source like(like acc/run)

2: is there a transmitter that needs to be places elsewher in the car, or is that also in the visor?
