Coolant Change Procedure?
'01 Stratus with 3.0 L engine has 24,000 miles but coolant never changed. Looks ok, but want to change due to age.
Can I replace with the Prestone Premium Coolant advertised for all engines? Dealer service advisor says it is ok, so long as it is not the green color coolant.
Also, are there any special procedures when draining and refilling, other than using 50/50 coolant and water and rechecking level after driven a few times? Have service manual which only lists 2.4 and 2.7 L engine, but is says to use distilled water and bleed air from system by opening a bleed valve. Don'tsee such a valve on my engine, and is it necessary to do this if I check level later?

Dodge dealer service advisor says there is no air bleed valve in cooling system of 3.0 liter engine and all I need to do is drain the old coolant and add the 50/50 mixture of new stuff. Plan to use Prestone Long Life coolant which container says is for all cars.
