Default very important questions.

We have an '05 Stratus sedan (2.4L) that has 38,000 on her. she resently started to idle rough, loss of power, and stall and even sometimes i think i can hear a rod knock (its not the injector clicking sound its more as my Neons sound when i first start it). the sparkplugs are fine. its thowing no codes at all. anyone know what the stalling problem could be? oh and sometimes when you come to a stop it stumbles. like the idle will randomly drop to like 300-400RPMS and ALMOST stall but then recovers but still idles a little rough.

besides oil change...no. the last oil change was about 2k ago. and the last time it saw the shop was about 6k ago for a problem with the TPS. where would it be leaking from though? all the lines look fine and its not throwing any codes (assuming the Stratus' have a code for vacuum leaks like the Neon does)

should have codes for a vac leak, not always though. with eng COLD spray some carb cleaner or eather around the intake, if you have a leak the rpm will jump.
