Addition of Keyless entry
Hi all-
I just purchased a 2004 Stratus ES, very basic. I don't think it even has keyless entry. I don't have fobs or transmitters for it, does anyone know if the ES has a receiver in the car already?
Can I purchase a full kit since we have power locks? Will we have to take the transmitters to the dealer to get them programmed? Is the installation of the receiver in the vehicle difficult?
Has anyone gone through a similar experience? Any advice? Any information on which parts I'm to purchase?

My suggestion would be to go after market. I don't think it would be worth it to try to find all the parts needed to add the factory system. And yes you would need to go to the dealership to program it all.
