My mother just bought a 2004 dodge stratus with the 2.7 v6 in it. She has witnessed a few problems I was wondering if anyone had any info. First A brake light will come on and you can smell a hot burning smell, then the light goes off. The brakes work fine and are good though. Also when you are sitting at a light it idles around 500rpm and it will surge up and down a little then shut off. The car is not overheating or anything it just shuts off. You can start it right back up and it goes fine.Anyone have these problems before or know what they could be? Thanks for any help
