I have a 2001 Dodge Stratus SE 2.4L DOHC. the transmission won't shift out of 1st gear, i pulled the codes and came up with P0605, and P0700.
i tried searching the internet,and read a few posts,that said in/out speed sensors, and the TCM. I called the local dealer here in Hawaii, and ordered the TCM, and they sent me the one mounted on the body not the transmission. Is that the correct part i thought the TCM was the one on the Transmission?

And also is that the problem, or did i just order something that is not needed. Also where is the in/out speed sensors located, and if that is the correct name for it.

I just changed the TCM, apaarently the one on the transmission isthe transmission solenoid, everything works fine now, the cars shifts normally,and i pulled the codes again, and no codes appeared. As a precaution, i am taking out of the dealer to have it flashed. Hope all of this helps anyone else if they are having the same problems.

So did you change the solenoid or the outside tcm?
