I just got my 96 Stratus to run, I replaced the computer that is located under the dash by the fuse box, the dealer didnt tell me but a junk yard did and for $40.00 bucks it runs like new, the dealer wanted $1600 up front to even work on it. Took me 3 weeks though..

 

was wondering about that.. my wife's stratus has a number of odd electrical problems, gear selector lights staying on, dome light staying on, radio staying on, or the car runs, but all the accessories wont work ie. PDL, PW, Radio, brake/turn signal lights etc etc.. cycling the ignition key usually straightens it out..

could the 'puter be flaking out? would it be worth my time to swap it with a known good puter? hell, for $40 it'd be a fairly cheap test, at least compared to how much other cash I've dumped into this heap heh
