How do you guys bleed brakes? I just pump the brakes then crack the valve and repeat till theres a nice stream.

but my buddy is trying to tell me to use a jar of fluid with a vaccum tube on the bleeder valve and pump the brakes with the car off. I'm not exactly sure what he's talking about.

Just thought I'd see what you guys do, and see if you've tried it my buddys way. and which one is best

To do it right, you need one person pumping the pedal and the other loosening/tightening the fitting on each wheel (although I have done it myself in a pinch). The jar of fluid with the tube going down into it will ensure that you don't suck any air from the fitting back into the brake lines if the pedal should happen to be released when you have the fitting open. I wrote a post on how to do this a while back: https://dodgeforum.com/m_855723/mpag.../tm.htm#855882

Just as he said. I've heard to start from the furthest from the master cylinder though so from Rear passenger, rear driver, front passenger, front driver.. Pump the brakes till hard push all the way to the floor, crack the bleeder, tighten the bleeder, let go of brake, and repeat till firm, you should have a clear tube coming from the bleeder to a jar, just to see there isn't any air in the lines still. and repeat for all 4.

For the Cloud (Stratus, Cirrus, Breeze) cars, it is actually rear driver, front passenger, rear passenger, and front driver. For Sebring coupe and Avenger, it will be rear passenger, front driver, rear driver, and front passenger. And if you have ABS, DRB scan tool is needed to completely bleed the ABS system.

Yes they are the same. I should have mentioned the difference between 1st gen Sebring coupe and Sebring convertible, not the 2nd gen Stratus coupe .
